Christie Knott, Executive Director of Family House, accepted the proclamation from Councilman William Peduto along with Family House Board Member, Randy Struk. The Struk family are long-time supporters and volunteers. The City Proclamation announces September 10th as Familly House Day in the City of Pittsburgh, honoring the annual Family House Polo Match being held the same day.
The 28th Annual Familly House Polo Match is an extraordinary family event that generates funds to allow Family House to provide comfortable, affordable “homes away from home” for patients and their families at the four houses surrounding Pittsburgh hospitals. Established in 1983, Family House, Inc. is a private 501 (c) (3) organization. For information or to make a secure donation, please visit www.familyhouse.org. Tickets for the Polo Match, held at Hartwood Acres, can be purchased online. Join us for shopping, children’s activities, tailgaiting and more as well as an exciting afternoon of Polo.
